3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1lb ground beef
1 28 oz can of tomato sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
In a pot over medium heat, add extra virgin olive oil.
Once oil is hot, add in onions and garlic.
When the onions are soft, add in ground beef. Cook until brown.
Add in tomato sauce, tomato paste, spices, and bay leaf, mix together.
Turn heat down to low and let sauce cook for additional 5 minutes.
Serve over noodles of choice
