Easy Asian Meat with Sauce

1 tbso oil of choice
1 package of turkey meat
4 cloves garlic
1 tbso ginger, chopped,
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 stalks green onions, chopped
3 tbsp creamy almond butter
7 tbsp coconut aminos
4 tsp rice wine vinegar
4 tsp sesame oil
butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce
In a pan, melt oil of choice (I used coconut oil).
Add turkey and cook until browned.
Once turkey is cooked, add onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onions are clear.
While turkey is cooking, mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Add 1/2 of the sauce to the turkey with the chestnuts and mix well.
Lastly, add pepper and green onions.
Serve over caulirice with extra sauce of in lettuce cups.
tips & tricks
Stretch the meal and get extra servings by adding chopped mushrooms and/or zucchini.
Make extra sauce and save in refrigerator for quick and easy meals.
Freezer Friendly: Make extra meat and freeze in ziploc bag. For single serve meals portion out into hamburger patties. Wrap each patty in saran wrap.
