Vegetarian | Gluten Free

Serving Size 2
Total Time 15 Minutes

1 tbsp avocado or coconut oil

3 tbsp popcorn kernels

3 tbsp nutritional yeast

pinch of red pepper flakes

pick of ground pepper

1/2 tsp salt

3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

In a large pot, add 1 tbsp avocado oil or coconut oil and 3 tbsp popcorn kernels.

Place the lid on top, and set to medium heat.

When you start to hear popping, hold the lid and shake back and forth a few times.

Set pot back on stove and move lid off a little to let air release.

Let popcorn pop until you can count 5 seconds between two pops (you don't want to burn it).

While popcorn is popping, mix the nutritional yeast, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper in a bowl or large ziplock bag.

Once popcorn is fully popped add to bowl or bag with extra virgin olive oil.

Shake until popcorn is fully covered and enjoy!

tips & tricks

Great snack that is full of good fat and B vitamins

You can find nutritional yeast at most grocery stores.

I use the Bragg's brand but any brand will work.

For best results, if you have a mortar and pestle - grind nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes before adding to popcorn. It will cover the popcorn better.
